Girls...
Here are some new girldrawings. I do them in "retro" look, because I like them.
Its not easy to color them with Copic-marker, because the most people do such pictures with paint. They are not good, but I hope someone like this stuff. I give my best to be a good artist.
Pic 1: Excuse me the ugly face....
The neck is too long. Sorry.

Don´t know what this should be, I had this idea when I hear music. XD

These are gorgeous, Stefanie!! They feel very painted for a marker sketch. Very skillfully executed.

I always have problems with the colors bleeding into other sections. And stripes in the flat colors. How do you avoid that?

Chet, LDDB2TF, zoki, JDM, James Elston: Thanks for your comment! :D

Steve Lambe:Thanks that you like my Ladies! :)

At first I use the bright colors, then I use darker Colors, I´m going from bright to dark. I´m very careful when I do every single part of coloration. Very important is the paper what I use for my "Copicart", some kind of paper are bad for copicmarker, because its to smooth or like Aquarelpaper. On cheap paper the colors looks blotchy. Try different kind of paper.
Hope I could help, Sorry about my bad english.

I disagree about the too long neck, it's one of my favorites next to the girl with the stockings.

WOW! I've never seen anyone so talented that they could just decide to paint like Lynne Naylor and pull it off! So many different styles and a master of all of them! Great stuff, Stephanie.

Hey there, dont be stupid.Your girlies are supersweet_really!The long neck of the 2nd one seperates it from all the regular stuff.I think the abstract look makes it much more dynamic and fills it with live.Ever thought about magazine-illustration?
I ve often seen characters like yours in popular magazines.I also do copicart, but in industrial design.Big up and keep on rolling this style_it kicks ass.regards from germany^^
