Backgrounds:

I tried to draw backgrounds, I hope they are ok, because I actually don't draw any.

I used some of the houses that John posted on his blog: http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_mJ4lc_Q9Q6k/SC87gSoj6QI/AAAAAAAANzw/2qX01uy5_BQ/s1600-h/94_main.JPGhttp://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mJ4lc_Q9Q6k/SC87gCoj6OI/AAAAAAAANzg/zGXrWQVEr9w/s1600-h/76_main.JPG
Sketches were done on paper and the colors in Photoshop. Forgive me the shaky lines, I still suck doing lines on the Wakom-tablet! Maybe someone can tell me how to make nice and smooth lines in Photoshop(easily)?

Steffi you are seriously amazing. Holy crap. Do you have any idea how good you are at art?

I think I first saw your work posted on the MOTLOS board years ago... did you ever post there or was that someone else?

Bye.

Wow Steffi, these backgrounds look stunning! There's a wonderful sense of scale and perspective in the first one. The colors are well chosen, too.
Shaky lines with Wacom and Photoshop are also my problem. I haven't yet found a good solution for it, but I can't see such faults in your drawings, both in these two, and in all the other digital work you did recently.

And wait a minute, isn't that Masaru Katou peeking out of the window? Or maybe he's hiding behind the bush XD

wow steff your just full of surprises with how good youre really are!! Love the layouts good perspective and excellent design and color sense. I always enjoy seeing you push the technique to still look like it was done by hand. Great inspiring
work!

You say you don't draw backgrounds, but that's bullshit! These are both AMAZING for sure! I especially love the color scheme in the bottom one.

Wow nice! The perspective and composition are amazing!

Im a noob but maybe the house needs to be a bit more organic.

Please don't draw backgrounds!!! Some background artists might get fired if the employers see your work!
Seriously... you are really talented... and no wonder whatever you do comes out FANTASTIC! Loved the colours and the clever mix of styles in these two.

they kick ass

Hey Steffi. Wow! You can do it all! Maybe try doing the linework in Illustrator then open that in Photoshop. Illustrator has better tools for making smoother lines.

Andy: You are right! I was in MOTLOS! I used to be "D-Reaper" and posted lots of Ren & Stimpy fanarts!XD

Flashcartoons: Thanks!!! But I still have to learn by myself before I can say anything.T_T

Ryan G.: Thanks for the advise!
I do very often the outlines in Flash, but I hear very often that its easier and faster in Illustrator, I should try it as soon as I have the chance!:D

Hryma, Hammerson, Tony, Jono, Mitch, Kookie, Zorilita, Benj, Howard, Ryan and Freckled Derelict: Thanks for your nice comments on my Backgrounds!!!:D
